Curtis Cukjati was born in Arlington, Texas and admitted to the Texas bar in 1989. He is licensed to practice law in Texas and in the U.S. District Courts in the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit and the United States Supreme Court.
Curtis Cukjati served as briefing Attorney in the Texas Supreme Court in1989 and 1990. He is a member of the John M. Harlan Society. While in law school, Cukjati was the Note and Comment Editor for the St. Mary’s Law Journal, from 1988 to 1989. He was editor in chief of The San Antonio Lawyer, from 1993 to 1995.
Curtis Cukjati taught as an Adjunct Professor of Business Law at Incarnate Word University from 1992 to 1998. He has been a member of the William S. Sessions American Inns of Court since 1995. Curtis was a Contributing Editor to Texas Antitrust and Business Litigation Bulletin and The Subpoena from 1990 to 1992. He served on the Editorial Advisory Board for Texas Pretrial Practice Manual in 2000. Cukjati was Co-Chairman of San Antonio Bar Publications Committee from 1993 to 1996.
Curt Cukjati graduated from the University of Texas at Austin, earning a Bachelor of Arts with honors in 1986. Attending St. Mary’s University, he earned the degree of Juris Doctor with honors in 1989.
